My wife and I do road trips.. we are always on the lookout for inexpensive.. but clean places to crash for the night. So we're experts in cheap motels ! This is an inexpensive place.. the lobby and grounds were.. older looking. Our room was not bad at all ! Clean.. and believe me.. I really checked. NO BED BUGS ! It's a decent room.. mini fridge.. microwave.. basic cable . Decent bed.. OK pillows.. clean sheets . The only thing that anyone can complain about is the fact that it's not a five star place. No origami bath towels.. no chocolate on the pillow. Just a nice.. clean room. The staff were super friendly.. especially the manager.. Harry. If you're a road-tripper.. like us. This is definitely the kind of place you are looking for. Friendly.. inexpensive.. mostly clean ! No bugs !!
We came to town for my brother's funeral. We reserved 3 rooms for ourselves and family. Harry took exceptional care of us. He made sure that our rooms were close together and offered to help us in anyway he could. The rooms were exactly as pictured, the price is extremely fair. There are stores within walking distance and there is an amazing Mexican food restaurant attached to the hotel. We appreciate the hospitality and will be back again for another stay when visiting family.
Stayed here for one night. Room was large and clean. Employee working at the front desk when I checked in/out was very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Plenty of parking. I did not use the pool as it was winter when I stayed.Nice view of river. Bed and pillows were comfortable, alarm clock worked, and the room had a coffee maker. I had a good experience here and would recommend this hotel to others.
The experience was pleasant. The room was clean. There was a clear entrance off the road. It wasn't right off a highway but still easy to get to. It had an outdoor pool that seemed clean. The continental breakfast was your standard fair. There was no problem with checking in or out.
Good place to stay. Quiet, but close to everything, even the freeway. The room is perfect, plumbing works fantastic. They also have a fabulous Mexican Restaurant located on the 1st floor. For an older motel, you get extra value for your dollar.
I was so impressed with the manager, Meghan! I had a bit of a crisis, regarding my electric vehicle! It was very low in the battery charge! And there is no place in Fulton to charge it! But Meghan, kindly, offered me the opportunity to charge the car using an outlet in my room! She arranged for me to park right outside my window, so I could easily charge the car from my hotel room outlet! It had been a long day, with many mishaps, and her kindness erased all my stress, and made me feel welcome and cared for! Also, the room was beautiful! Nice wood floors, comfortable beds, beautiful artwork on the wall, which is unusual for many hotels! We enjoyed our stay! And thank you for welcoming dogs here! I will definitely stay here again, if I’m ever back in this area! Thank you thank you thank you! Excellent work, Megan!!!
For booking months in advance for the 4/8/24 eclipse, I had to really fight to get the one last room only becaise it had issues. Somebody else got the room I was already reserved for. Issues: missing smoke/CO¹ detector in the ceiling (gaping hole with wires hanging out), banging loud bathroom fan, bedside drawer (with Gideon's Bible) had sticky spills and a candy wrapper, sink counter, mirror and toilet wasn't thoroughly sanitized, floors needed vacuuming/swiffer. TV remote not working. I even checked for bed bugs - no evidence in the mattress seams, but still vigilant and kept clothes/suitcase in the tub. Found no evidence but still, after flying on planes all day, I was happy to keel over with that. For a minute there I thought I'd be sleeping in the car. Big thanks to Rob and Rosa for straightening out the booking fiasco. Now on to the big event! (and very bad traffic).
It's not bad like people say! And the stay was not bad at all. Continental breakfast daily. Pet friendly and wicked nice staff and washer and dryer for clothes.
